'The Shooting' with Monte Hellman

Written by Five Easy Pieces scribe Carole Eastman and also starring Jack Nicholson, Monte Hellman's bleak, existential indie western, The Shooting, is ripe for re-evaluation. Hellman, also director of polarizing american indie classic Two Lane Blacktop, will be in attendance for this Saturday's screening at Smith Rafael Film Center. More info cafilm.org.
